Germany meets Indonesia, guest of honor at Frankfurt’s Book Fair 2015
This poster series has been created for the annual design contest for young designers held by the Frankfurt Book Fair to honor this year’s host country and to promote promising design students from German universities.
The posters’ theme is focused on the country’s diversity of ethnicities and cultures showing Balinese topengs (dance masks) used in traditional Indonesian dance performances. These perfomances tell the stories of heroes and myths just like books do in Western society.
